Dipped Pretzels are a delicious and nourishing snack that you can eat that won't make you feel like you are limiting yourself in taste or calories. Microwave a half a cup's worth of semi sweet chocolate until it has reached the melting point. It takes a couple of minutes to do this and make sure you stir it up super well before using it. Dip low-sodium into the melted chocolate to coat them and then lay them in a single layer on parchment paper. Let them cool at room temperature or put them in the fridge for about twenty minutes.

Yummy Tortilla Chips are a snack that you can make all by yourself at home...seriously! When you buy tortilla chips at the store, the chips are pretty much coated in salt and are very unhealthy. In this snack, you make the chips yourself using corn tortillas. Use at least ten corn tortillas and cut them into sixths. Put all of those pieces on to a baking sheet and then spritz them with a spray that you can make from canola oil, chili powder, cumin and sea salt. Allow each piece to be coated entirely and then bake all of the pieces together in a 350 degree oven for a quarter of an hour. Allow them to cool down totally before trying to eat them.

Make your own caramel corn! You probably think that there is no way that caramel corn can be good for you because it is so high in sugar and calories. Use this recipe instead; it's good for you. Use a big stock pot and melt two tablespoons of butter at the bottom of it and then stir in two tablespoons of brown sugar, a tablespoon of water and a fourth of a teaspoon of kosher salt. Use a whisk to combine it all and then put seven cups of air popped popcorn into the pot. If you want, you can even stir in some lightly salted peanuts if that's your thing. Mix it all together until the popcorn (and nuts if you've included them) are evenly coated and then let the whole lot cool before you eat it.

If you don't mind doing some research, you can find plenty of snack recipes that are nourishing and good for you and that also have not so many calories or bad ingredients. There are all sorts of options for super nourishing and tasty snacks out there. You just need to find the patience to search them out and create them yourself.
