Jerome Karam – Serving Galveston County for two Decades189452
Every community needs a champion. Throughout history, the most recognized cities in the country have always had someone that worked tirelessly to improve the look of his community and the lives of his neighbors. In Galveston County, that man is none other than Jerome Karam.
What is perhaps most impressive about Jerome is that he manages to fulfill so many roles. By day Jerome is a practicing attorney. A graduate of Thurgood Marshall School of Law, Jerome has over 20 years of experience running a private practice. He specializes in Accident & Injury and Business Litigation. Unlike other attorneys in the area, Jerome is renowned for taking on any case, no matter how unfavorably the odds are stacked against his client. He has gone up against large insurance companies and corporations alike, and boasts one of the highest success rates in all of Texas.
Jerome is also notorious for recognizing valuable, yet underutilized properties, and redeveloping them into something spectacular. For example, he recently acquired the old CenturyTel on building on Coliseum Blvd. in Alexandria, and transformed it into a Mecca of modern office buildings and retail fronts. Ground has just been broken on 36 new rental condominiums that will also inhabit the area. Plaza 28 is projected to stimulate Alexandria’s economy and improve its appeal.
Jerome is also a celebrated family man. He has a lovely wife, and five beautiful children, many of whom have already become successes in their own rite. After becoming the most celebrated quarterback in Friendswood High school history, son Jacob went onto become the starting quarterback at the University of Memphis. His daughter JoAnn is a burgeoning tennis star at Friendswod High, who is projected to go pro by many reputable scouts. Other daughter Jordan, also of Friendswood High, is a member of the National Championship winning dance squad the Wranglerettes.
Jerome Karam is living proof that any one man, who is dedicated and passionate enough about his craft, can make a real difference in the world.
